What are the main navigation and features of the EXcelerate report?
The EXcelerate report has certain features a collapsible menu, dataset selection, comparisons, benchmarks, toggle to show all content, and PNG download for widgets.
Menu
- There is a menu on the left hand side — it expands when you hover over it. The menu contains tabs you can navigate through. The info icons located near the titles can be used to learn more about the insights shown in the respective widget, and how to interact with it.
Data Selection & Comparison
- Use the Focus tab in the Data Selection & Comparison modal at the top of the page to select which dataset you want to view.
- Use the Comparison tab to compare data with your focus selection. This enables side-by-side insights into different groups / time periods.
- Only specific widgets display comparison — others will remain unchanged. Widgets who display it are marked with a scale icon.
Comparison Groups
- In the EX Index widget, Comparison Groups like Industry Average, Best in Class, and competitors provide external benchmarks. They help you understand whether your organisation’s scores are lower, on par, or ahead of relevant peers.
- These groups are displayed as indicators of unique shape and colour on the scale. You can select one or more groups to compare—just click on the chips (e.g., Best in Class) at the top of the widget. Hovering over an indicator reveals the exact numeric score for that comparison group.
Show All Content Toggle
- The "Show all content" toggle reveals all hidden insights, such as the numeric scores for each selected comparison group, directly beneath the scales. This can be useful when exporting the widget as an image, in which case the information, normally visible only on hover, would be displayed.
Download as a PNG File Button
- There is a button shaped as a camera in the upper right corner of each widget. This button downloads the whole widget, with all its current view configurations, as a PNG image.
